HI EVERYONE!!

My name is Jacey, creator behind Joyful Soul!!

Allow me to  introduce myself:  I  am currently a senior Kinesiology major at Texas A&M University! WHOOP!!! I am graduating in December and, after that, hoping to pursue a career in ministry! I have had Joyful Soul for about 9 months and it has been SO FUN and incredible to see the plan that the Lord has had for it this far.

I am so excited and blessed to have the opportunity to be writing this post to share God’s love and truth with others (and in a fashionable way hehe).

My mission behind this blog  +  my account is to share God’s word, will, and way with the people that come across it.

I reached out to Hartjoy with the hope of using our platforms in a way that would glorify His kingdom alone! This process has been so incredible and I am so excited to see the way that God utilizes it!

As you can see in our brand names, joy is something that we both find to be incredibly valuable. That is where this specific design for the collaboration stems from!

It is our hope that this product, and the meaning behind it, gives you a new insight on the joy that is to be found in the Lord!!

Please take the time to read the heart and hope behind this product!

REJOICE IN THE LORD :

Joy can be such a scary and daunting word, especially in a world that is overtaken by evil and sinful things. Joy is not dependent upon circumstances but instead something that is found in proximity to the Lord. You can be sad yet rejoice in the Lord. You can be scared yet rejoice in the lord. You do not have to be happy or successful by worldly standards in order to “rejoice in the Lord”.

Rejoice means to “feel or show great joy or delight”.

When you seek the Lord,  joy is to be found. Joy is experienced by those who have received salvation and sanctification from God.

The most joy that I have ever felt is the joy I feel when I reflect on all that God has done for me.

I have recently been in a season of having the opportunity to share my testimony with many new (& old) friends in my life. It has been such a blessing and an intentional reminder from the Lord of the darkness that He led me out of.

In my past I have struggled tremendously with comparison… and I can tell you from my experience that it truly is the thief of JOY. I lived in a constant state of second guessing myself and the intentions of others. I could never peacefully walk in the life that God had placed in front of me. I allowed myself to believe the lies of the enemy rather than rest in truth. I was created by God and for a purpose (Ephesians 2:10)! Once I began to truly live life in this way, the thief of joy stopped knocking on my door. I stopped worrying about where God had placed everyone else and began to find peace and joy in the place that He had me in. It was not always easy but through prayer and the Lord’s guidance, I stopped taking His direction for granted.

Each day, even if I do not feel up to it, I rejoice in the Lord.

The gospel alone is reason enough to wake up each day and choose joy because, well,

He chose you.

You may ask:  WHAT IS THE GOSPEL AND WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR ME?

All humans are imperfect beings created by a perfect God. We were created in His image to do good but because of the sinful nature of mankind, we all fall short of the glory of God. Our sin creates a separation between us and God. Because of that, we cannot be in the presence of His perfection. However, because of His love for us, God sent his one and only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins and be the ultimate sacrifice. Jesus, both fully God and fully man, lived a perfect and sinless life that is impossible for us as humans to achieve. He died on the cross and was crucified in our place, so that we may not carry the consequences of our own sin. After His crucifixion, He rose from the grave three days later, conquering both death and sin. Because of this, we are given the choice to receive eternal life with God, through a relationship with Jesus Christ. His grace and mercy are undeserved and cannot be achieved by works but through faith alone.

Because of this, I rejoice in the Lord.

Even though it may not always feel like it, there is joy to be found because of the promise that you receive as a child of God. The inspiration for both Joyful Soul and the design for this product stems from this verse:

Isaiah 61:10-11

10 I rejoice greatly in the Lord,

I exult in my God;

for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation

and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness,

as a groom wears a turban

and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

11 For as the earth produces its growth,

and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up,

so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise

to spring up before all the nations.

Rejoice in the Lord and praise His name for all to hear!!

You have been given a way of salvation and righteousness.

Wear it proudly for all to see.

There is joy to be found!!
